 
        
        OverviewBatmac Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Service and Compliance Manager. 
With over 30 years of experience, Batmac Constructions is established in the Construction and Commercial Building Maintenance industry. 
The company operates from offices in Unanderra and North Nowra, serving the Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Eurobodalla, and Southern Highlands regions. 
The position location will be based on the successful candidate's residency, with options at North Nowra or Unanderra.The Service and Compliance Manager is responsible for day-to-day service operations while ensuring compliance with statutory, safety, environmental, and quality standards. 
This includes maintaining and improving company systems, including computerised project and asset management systems, to support efficient service delivery and ongoing accreditation. 
Responsibilities 
Ensure the workplace adheres to established policies, procedures, objectives, and standards, continuously improving them as required. 
Maintain evidence for annual external surveillance and re-certification audits to uphold ISO accreditation. 
Ensure the Company meets or surpasses all statutory requirements, keeping abreast of relevant laws and regulations. 
Develop, implement, and maintain the Company's Accredited Management System, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS ISO 45001, AS/NZS ISO 14001, and AS/NZS ISO 9001 standards. 
Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews, preparing clear reports. 
Develop and monitor action plans to address safety, service, and compliance deficiencies identified from audits. 
Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide systems and processes to support service delivery and compliance. 
Oversee the development, integration, and upkeep of computerised project and asset management systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and usability. 
Provide user training and support to staff for system utilisation and efficiency. 
Establish and maintain record systems for documents, forms, templates, and registers (e.g., training and competency, licences, electrical equipment, PPE inspections and allocation). 
Ensure internal and client-based inductions, ensuring accurate records are maintained. 
Identify staff training needs and deliver training through inductions, refresher courses, toolbox talks, or targeted programs. 
Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes, and developing corrective action plans. 
Promote and foster a culture of safety, compliance, service excellence, and continuous improvement. 
Assist with other office and operational duties as assigned. 
Qualifications 
Relevant Compliance Qualification (e.g., ICA Diploma, Cert IV or equivalent) 
Experience within a similar role and industry 
Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining ISO systems and standards 
Previous experience with Construction and Document Management Software 
Data entry and word processing skills; ability to format and proof-read reports and maintain Excel spreadsheets 
Advanced computer skills 
Driver's Licence
