FUNCTIONS We are currently seeking a Procurement Director to play a key role in a major industrial in Australia, for a leading company in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy Development: Collaborate in creating and developing procurement strategies aligned with the consortium's objectives and the renewable energy macroproject.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement strategies.
Supplier Management: Supervise the identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability in all transactions.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers and ensure the implementation of agreements that meet legal and commercial requirements.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations and standards related to procurement and contracting.
Risk and Cost Management: Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with procurement while optimizing costs and resources to maximize the consortium's financial efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular reports on the status of acquisitions, contracts, and expenses, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
Requirements Previous experience in leadership roles in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy sector or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong negotiation, leadership, and team management skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative and multicultural environment.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Nice to have Deep knowledge of acquisition regulations and practices in Australia.
