About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join our team. If you have experience in Family Law and are looking for your next career move, we encourage you to apply.
Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Managing and advising on matters relating to divorce, separation, property settlements, parenting arrangements, child support, and spousal maintenance.
* Preparing legal documentation, including affidavits, applications, consent orders, binding financial agreements, and correspondence.
* Conducting client interviews, providing clear and empathetic legal advice.
* Assisting your director with clients at mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances.
* Staying updated with changes in family law legislation, case law, and court procedures.
* Maintaining accurate and timely file management and billing records.
* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
* Contributing to the growth of the practice through networking and client development.
What we are looking for
* 2-4 years post-admission experience in family law.
* Solid experience managing files independently.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and legal procedures.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* A client-focused approach with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
* Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously.
* Current practicing certificate.
