Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will support BD ROWA and Pyxis systems in retail, central, and hospital pharmacies across Victoria and Tasmania. Responsibilities include remote diagnostics, field repairs, preventative maintenance, performance testing, and electrical safety testing of electro-medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose system errors and resolve customer issues promptly.
* Maintain current software levels on equipment.
* Achieve product repair turnaround goals.
* Provide technical support during system implementation.
* Perform routine and breakdown maintenance.
* Schedule and communicate maintenance visits aligned with customer requirements.
* Monitor support cases and escalate issues as needed.
* Retrieve technical information to assist support cases.
* Keep devices updated with the latest security patches and antivirus files.
* Collaborate with account managers, product managers, project managers, and contractors.
* Assist pre-sales and support teams as needed.
* Follow safe work practices to ensure health and safety.
* Report potential issues, customer complaints, and escalate as necessary.
* Identify sales or contract opportunities and communicate accordingly.
* Document all work accurately and maintain records per company policies.
* Participate in training to stay current with skills and standards.
* Support compliance with Australian Standards related to electro-medical equipment.
* Maintain confidentiality and coordinate reporting on recalls.
* Be flexible to support interstate travel and work outside regular hours.
* Set and review personal objectives with your manager.
Skills and Experience:
* Strong technical knowledge, especially server and remote diagnostics.
* Excellent communication skills and customer management.
* Ability to perform repairs and upgrades on electro-medical equipment.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Preferred restricted electrical license or equivalent.
* Diploma or degree in a related field.
* Understanding of computers and software.
Flexibility to support customers across metro and regional Victoria, with potential interstate support.
