Arts Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Arts Team Leader to provide leadership to arts staff and drive the development of arts and cultural initiatives within our organisation.
The successful candidate will have expertise in arts and cultural programming, a strong understanding of gallery operations, and heritage collection management. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in leading teams to achieve strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead collaboration within the arts team to achieve organisational goals.
* Develop and implement arts and cultural initiatives that promote our organisation's vision and values.
* Deliver exhibitions, programs, and interpretation that attract new audiences and repeat visitors, promoting art, history, and heritage, and facilitating community participation and audience engagement.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in history, museum studies, art curatorship, or a relevant discipline. You will also need experience in historical collection development, assessment, and recording, knowledge of archival principles and practices, and demonstrated writing skills for documentation of research, reports, and project documentation.
