Long Street Advisors is a specialist advisory firm that is focused on meaningful digitalisation. The firm supports clients through providing strategy and policy consulting and advisory services.
Meaningful digitalisation happens when citizens, communities, business, and government are using connected technologies (such as 5G, fibre, IoT, AI, analytics, security and big data) to create growth and innovation, to live safely, responsibly and securely, to access learning and healthcare and be in touch with loved ones.
Long Street's heritage spans over three decades, led by Mohammad Chowdhury whose experience spans over 80 countries advising on connectivity and internet-related industry reforms, digital inclusion and digital economy strategies. Long Street's experience has impacted some 2 billion population across emerging and advanced markets. There is much left to do not only to enhance connectivity but to drive the adoption of digital technologies for citizens and consumers, small and large business, entire industries and nations.
Digitalisation at scale is a monumental task, presenting many wickedly difficult problems. Long Street focuses on strategic and policy engagement which targets nation, region, industry, company or citizen-level outcomes. Most wicked problems require multiple level trade-offs to find the preferred way forward, and this must rely on experience and instinct.
Long Street's client base is spread across Australia, Asia-Pacific and worldwide. Working for the firm offers the prospect of international travel and supporting overseas clients in a multi‐cultural and multi‐site team and incredible opportunities for apprenticeship and personal growth.
