Electrical Construction Manager Role:
About the Position
* This leadership position oversees all aspects of electrical construction, ensuring successful project delivery.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate delivery with key subcontractors across low voltage, high voltage, fire, and security systems.
* Align electrical construction activities with project master programs.
* Manage interfaces between civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
* Oversee electrical completions, testing, and handover documentation.
* Plan and execute high voltage/low voltage energisation.
* Administer permit-to-work processes and switching procedures.
* Promote strong health, safety, and environmental performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Key Requirements
* Extensive experience in construction management or a similar role, preferably in complex infrastructure projects.
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field (TAFE or equivalent).
* Proven ability to manage multiple electrical contractors concurrently.
* Brown-field water and wastewater electrical & SCADA experience is highly desirable.
* Experience in planning, sequencing, and executing electrical works on multidisciplinary sites.
