**Job Title:** One Basin CRC Manager

Role Overview:
The University of Melbourne is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the One Basin Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) in Mildura.
This role will involve spearheading strategic initiatives adapting agriculture to climate change, engaging with diverse partners, developing cutting-edge research projects, and managing the Mildura Hub's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective links with CRC partners, government bodies, and regional communities to drive collaborative innovation.
* Manage Research Projects: Work with Research Program Leaders to develop and deliver impactful projects adapting agriculture to climate change.
* Oversee Hub Operations: Provide operational management for the Mildura Hub, ensuring successful delivery of One Basin CRC initiatives.
* Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Chair committees, organise workshops, and represent the CRC at various forums to promote knowledge sharing and impact.
Requirements:
* A collaborative leader with extensive experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and a strong background in agriculture, water management, or environmental science.
* Possess a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
* Demonstrated experience in high-level stakeholder engagement with research organisations and industry partners.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

The One Basin CRC has been established to grow value from water in a changing world. This 10-year, $150 million program brings science-led solutions to the region, partnering with industry, producers, and First Nations peoples to solve real-world problems.
