Position Details Education Assistant
This is an ongoing position commencing Term 2, 20 April 2026.
Your Day Will Look Like
* developing positive relationships with students and providing continuance of support in classes
* assisting in the creation and adaption of classroom materials for use by students
* actively encouraging and assisting students to take as much responsibility as possible for their own organisation and learning
* accompanying and, if required, transporting students on excursions or work placement
* being a role model of the College's values
* actively supporting Catholic identity and the development of faith
* building and maintaining strong relationships based on mutual respect with students, families and peers
Selection Criteria For This Role, You Will Need
* previous experience in a similar role
* a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
* a current Working with Children Registration
* to be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
Tertiary qualifications in School Based Education Support or equivalent is highly desirable.
