About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our Cobram branch. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong warehousing and customer service experience who thrives in a hands-on leadership role.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring quality control, safe storage practices, and accurate record keeping for inward and outward goods. You will coordinate stock and delivery schedules to optimise efficiency while supporting customer needs and working closely with our Customer Service Officers.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all warehouse operations in line with AGnVET warehouse procedures including logistics coordination such as daily delivery runs
Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership to warehouse team members
Manage stock control, including inventory monitoring and stocktakes
Champion safety, compliance, and quality standards
Receive and store incoming goods, including agricultural chemicals, animal health products, fertilisers, and general merchandise
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders and inter-branch transfers
Deliver orders to customers as required (truck driving)
Maintain presentation and organisation of the yard and warehouse
Oversee servicing and maintenance of company vehicles, plant, and equipment
Support order processing, including point-of-sale transactions and invoicing
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Assist with general branch operations as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience supervising warehouse operations, including receipt and dispatch
A strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Proven customer service experience
Sound computer and systems skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Licences And Qualifications
Forklift licence (essential)
Current driver's licence (essential)
HR truck licence (essential)
Dangerous Goods licence (desirable or willingness to obtain)
Experience or knowledge of agricultural products will be highly regarded.
