Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support our team in Bundaberg or Hervey Bay. This newly created role will strengthen GHD's electrical capabilities across the region by working on projects in renewable energy, oil and gas, local government, lighting and building services.
Responsibilities
* Work with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
* Manage project resources to maintain budgets.
* Undertake site inspections and kick‐off meetings.
* Assist other electrical engineers on larger projects.
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering; Chartered status (e.g., CPEng, RPEQ) highly desirable.
* Ideally 5+ years' experience in an EPC or consulting environment.
* Experience in power generation projects (conventional and renewable), detail design and technical due diligence.
* Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
* Strong communication skills, trusted partner to clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, skilled with report writing.
