Accountant/Bookkeeper Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the museum's financial transactions, preparing quarterly BAS returns and annual budgets, and ensuring compliance with ASIC and ACNC regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the museum's financial transactions using Xero software
* Prepare and lodge quarterly BAS returns with the ATO
* Develop and manage annual budgets
* Ensure compliance with ASIC and ACNC regulations
* Prepare and present quarterly reports to the Board
* Arrange payment to suppliers and follow up on debtors
Requirements:
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Highly organized and detail-oriented
