Your Tasks
Manage the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics and facilities at the R&S Sydney office, collaborating with department heads to develop and implement best practices, ensuring accurate inventory management via SAP, and maintaining facilities in line with WHS standards.
Project a professional image and maintain a positive attitude in dealings with customers and staff, adhering to the Behaviour Charter.
Coordinate with infrastructure teams, contractors, and suppliers to manage logistics operations, ensuring proper storage and management of all inventories, and liaising with the Brisbane warehouse for process implementation.
Ensure compliance with all WHS policies across logistics and facilities management functions.
Support the implementation of storage management systems using new SAP modules and processes.
Monitor goods receiving and requesting processes across departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and collaborating with engineering, purchasing, demo, and sales teams.
Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, resolving operational issues and recommending process improvements.
Maintain detailed records and generate reports on warehouse activities.
Serve as the point of contact for the Sydney landlord and facilitate maintenance requests, supporting other R&S offices as needed.
Manage maintenance, repairs, and ad hoc services for offices, including coordinating with contractors for various services.
Handle waste management procedures for the Sydney site.
Conduct routine inspections and scheduled checks related to WHS.
Assist with office relocation projects and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, maintain relationships with other departments, and manage company vehicle logs.
Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks and support marketing activities for exhibitions and trade shows.
Address customer or procedural issues proactively, taking corrective actions and informing management as necessary.
Your Qualifications
Experience managing day-to-day logistics operations.
Facilities management experience across office and laboratory sites.
Understanding of lifting heavy items.
Proficiency in MS Office, Windows, and SAP.
