Telecommunications Technician Trainee

As a Telecommunications Technician Trainee, you will work closely with experienced technicians to complete Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology while learning on the job. You will rotate through data, fibre, and electronic security installations alongside qualified technicians.

* Assist with installing communications, security, and data cabling to Australian standards (e.g., AS/CA S009).
* Support the commissioning of CCTV, access control, alarm, and intercom systems.
* Learn to terminate, test, and certify copper and fibre-optic cabling.
Essential Requirements:
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident for apprenticeship funding eligibility.
* Current driver's licence (P-plate minimum) and reliable transport.
* Ability to pass a National Police Check for security-sensitive environments.
Desirable Qualifications:
* White Card or willingness to obtain before starting work.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office software.
* Previous experience with tools, cabling, fibre, or security systems.
