About Legion Drilling
Legion Drilling is a leading specialist in Environmental, Geotechnical, and Sonic drilling services across Australia. We're expanding our team and seeking the next generation of motivated trainees to join us at our Wetherill Park depot in Western Sydney.
The Role
These trainee positions offer diverse, hands-on experience in a dynamic industry. Expect challenging work that's rewarding and varied – definitely not for the faint-hearted You'll travel frequently across Australia, working on projects from bustling city sites to remote locations accessible only by sea or air.
Local candidates near our depot will have an advantage.
We're looking for driven individuals who are smart, eager to grow, and passionate about delivering high-quality work. Experience helps, but we're more interested in people who share our values, enthusiasm, and commitment. Candidates with backgrounds in construction or landscaping often excel in this field due to the transferable skills.
What We're Looking For
* Physically fit and ready to put in hard work during long hours
* Enjoy travel and adaptable to flexible rosters
* Able to stay positive in tough physical and mental conditions
* Fascinated by machinery and keen to master how it works
* Thrive in small teams, tackling challenges together
* Any previous mechanical experience is a bonus
Essential Requirements
* HR licence
* Willing to complete pre-employment medical and drug screening
* Prepared for extended travel, rostered shifts (including weekends)
* Undertake an aptitude test
* First aid and CPR
* White Card
