Position Title: Consultant – Emergency Medicine

Salary: MP Year 1-9 $352,448- $448,210 p.a. pro rata or $675.62 - $859.19 per session (inclusive of base salary and applicable allowances)

Location description: Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in Mandurah, about 75 km south of Perth, with 206 licensed beds and a focus on service transformation for the Peel-Murray region.
Responsibilities
- Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of service delivery and medical outcomes to patients within the emergency medicine services.
- Promote patient safety and quality of care; provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education where relevant for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
- Collaborate with the Head of Emergency Medicine and other Consultants to achieve national, state and SMHS performance standards and targets.
- Contribute to development and implementation of innovative strategies to improve operational performance, resource management and customer service.
- Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
