Business Operations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Specialist to support the delivery of change management strategies across key initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to understand change impacts and communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure they understand changes and implications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in delivering business process improvements across key initiatives
* Support the completion of change impact assessments and readiness activities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date business documentation
* Work closely with internal teams and external partners to understand change impacts
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure they understand changes and implications
* Prepare materials to support stakeholder communications
* Assist in developing clear, targeted communication materials
* Coordinate training and capability-building activities
* Support the distribution of change-related communications
* Align business activities with key project milestones and timelines
* Track change-related risks, issues, and dependencies
* Monitor change adoption and provide insights into readiness and feedback
* Contribute to leadership and governance reporting
* Assist in developing and refining business tools, templates, and frameworks
* Support the delivery of projects and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

* Tertiary qualification in business or a related field
* Training or certification in Lean Six Sigma, Change Management or Project Management is desirable
* 2-4 years' experience in operations, change, or business analyst roles
* Experience in process improvement, change initiatives, or operational projects
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or MS Project
* Quick to learn new systems and processes
* Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, change-focused environment
