Due to ongoing project growth, we are seeking a Night Shift Licensed Electrician to join our team at Townsville Airport. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile airfield infrastructure projects as part of an experienced construction team.
This position is ideal for electricians with civil, infrastructure, or commercial construction experience looking to work on unique airport lighting systems.
The Role
You will be responsible for installation and maintenance of specialised airport lighting systems, working alongside a skilled project team.
Key duties include:
* Installation of airfield runway and taxiway lighting systems
* Installation of apron floodlighting and electrical infrastructure
* Cable installation, trenching coordination and terminations
* Testing, commissioning and maintenance of airfield lighting equipment
* Working in accordance with strict airport safety and compliance standards
* Supporting project delivery within scheduled timelines

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current Australian Electrical Licence
* Valid White Card
* Experience on civil, infrastructure or commercial construction projects
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Minimum 1–2 years experience as a qualified electrician
* Full Australian working rights
