Skillful Education Leader
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to take on the role of Learning and Development Manager at our hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating learning strategies for nursing and support staff.
The Learning & Development Manager will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to identify education and training needs that align with our Clinical Services Plan, NSQHS Standards and Calvary National Education and Training Framework.
* Key responsibilities include identifying specific learning requirements through annual education needs analysis, ensuring educational activities meet customer needs and expectations, maintaining current knowledge of nursing and healthcare best practice, and coordinating evidence-based educational activities.
* The Learning and Development Manager will lead a dynamic team of Clinical Nurse Educators and Nursing Facilitators, participating in budget management and facilitating staff compliance with mandatory training requirements.
About this Role:
This leadership position requires a commitment to ongoing professional development, strong computer literacy skills, and excellent communication abilities.
A postgraduate qualification in education, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and experience in leadership roles are highly desirable. Previous experience in a similar role is also beneficial.
