You'll work end-to-end on real projects using OpenShot or Shotcut, sharing your authentic editing process, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence digital tools by demonstrating the craft and mindset of an experienced video editor.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute comprehensive video editing projects—from raw footage organization to polished final export—using OpenShot or Shotcut.
* Showcase your real workflow, including asset management, sequencing, pacing, and creative problem resolution, while being recorded for AI training purposes.
* Collaborate with the team to capture your editing rationale and articulate your decisions clearly in both written and verbal formats.
* Continuously optimize project workflows, ensuring efficiency and high production value at every stage.
* Troubleshoot technical or creative challenges as they arise, proactively documenting your approach.
* Participate in feedback sessions, helping refine guidelines for video editing best practices.
* Contribute to an environment dedicated to knowledge sharing and process transparency.
