About the Role:

* Support Operations Manager in delivering a seamless experience for talent, distributors, and attendees.
* Assist with planning and executing operational elements on time and to a high standard.

* Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive collaboration and high-quality outcomes.
* Assist in tracking budgets, managing invoices, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
* Monitor supplier compliance with health and safety requirements across all onsite operations.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting best practices in festival planning and delivery.
About You:

* Minimum 4 years of experience in event operations, ideally in film festivals or live entertainment.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience in large-scale event procurement and logistics coordination.
* Ability to negotiate and contract suppliers and contractors effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and quickly resolve logistical and operational challenges.
* Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of event planning and execution.
* Knowledge of risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and WHS compliance.
* Experience in managing large teams of event staff and volunteers.
* Highly organised, with a talent for managing complex spreadsheets and project plans.
