About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our Perth-based Service Delivery team. The successful candidate will provide technical support across infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and end-user systems while contributing to ongoing maintenance and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing remote and onsite support for a variety of client environments
* Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues
* Installing, upgrading, and configuring IT infrastructure (on-prem and cloud)
* Acting as an escalation point for junior technicians
* Collaborating with clients to understand technical needs and deliver tailored solutions
* Monitoring systems, responding to alerts, and managing incidents in line with SLAs
* Documenting technical procedures, solutions, and project work
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* A proven track record of working independently while maintaining high productivity and accountability
* Technical proficiency at an intermediate level or higher, with experience in Microsoft 365 administration and support, Microsoft Security Solutions management and support, networking preferably with Cisco Meraki technologies, backup solutions ideally Veeam or similar platforms, server infrastructure, and end-user devices
* Minimum 5 years' experience in technical support roles, ideally within a Managed Service Provider environment supporting a diverse range of clients and infrastructure setups
