Synergie Australia is seeking an Exchange System Administrator for a trusted client located in the ACT.
The important parts:
* Pay: $61–$67 per hour + Super | ⏳ Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension)
* Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating roster between 8:00am–6:00pm | 40 hrs per week
What you will be required to do:
You will manage and optimise a hybrid Exchange environment, supporting critical communication platforms across a complex government ICT landscape. This role focuses on migration, system reliability, and technical leadership within enterprise infrastructure.
* Maintain and support Exchange Server and Enterprise Vault
* Lead migration of mail data to Exchange Online
* Troubleshoot complex mail flow and infrastructure issues
* Develop technical documentation and migration plans
* Represent technical solutions in projects and workshops
To be successful in the role you will:
* Strong expertise in Exchange Server & Exchange Online (hybrid)
* Proven experience in Exchange migrations (cross-forest/legacy)
* Advanced troubleshooting across mail flow & connectivity
* Solid Windows Server knowledge (AD, DNS, Group Policy)
* Experience with Australian Gov security frameworks (ISM, Essential 8)
