- YOUR ROLECEVA logistics has an opportunity for an experienced, driven and demonstrated ground Transport Supervisor at our facility located in Orchard Hills, NSW.- This role will require you to have a flexible approach, a proactive nature and the ability to think on your feet while juggling multiple priorities to meet KPI's & SLAs. Time management and accuracy is vital in this role. If you enjoy working within a fast paced environment then this is the role for you.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Supervisor Day to Day operations
- Monitoring & Coordination of LCL & FCL deliveries
- Responsible to drive carriers & meet customer delivery in Full & On-Time
- Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients regarding shipment progress and delivery commitments.
- Ensure entry of delivery and POD data into the appropriate operational systems
- Accurate shipment processing in line with customer requirements and as completed as per current work instructions and within set KPI timeframes
- Drive continuous improvement in both team and individual performance and efficiently using the LEAN tools and CEVA principles
- Process customer deliveries in line with their expectations, requirements and job type in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Coordinates the completion of customs entries as required by ABF
- Liaise with appropriate people in regards to AQIS directions and Customs inspections at offsite facilities.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in supervising/managing freight transport team
- Experience in ground transport operations is desirable
- Thorough knowledge of AU Customs and other regulatory procedures
- FCL & LCL Experience preferred
- High Level interpersonal and communication skills
