This will involve developing commercial strategies, business development, origination and management of gas sales agreements, processing and transport agreements.Based in Melbourne, this role is central to advancing our commercial performance, supporting growth opportunities, and strengthening stakeholder relationships.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute gas marketing, trading, and commercial strategiesOriginate, negotiate, and manage gas sales, transport, and processing agreementsUse data analytics to enhance decision-making and market insightMaintain and improve commercial systems, processes, and contract databasesProvide strategic input into M&A, business development, and regulatory mattersMentor junior staff and contribute to internal capability developmentRepresent Amplitude Energy with customers, partners, and stakeholders to build strong, collaborative relationships.About YouTertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Engineering or relevant industry experience5+ years of commercial experience in oil & gas or energy marketsProven skills in commercial strategy, negotiation, and contract managementDeep understanding of the gas market, regulatory frameworks, and trading dynamicsStrong communication, leadership, and analytical skillsPrevious trading experience in wholesale gas or electricity markets will be highly regarded, as will existing relationships with wholesale participants within the Southern gas and electricity markets.About UsAmplitude Energy is proud to source, develop and produce domestic natural gas that will bridge the gap between renewable energy supply and consumer demand for Australia's energy future.
