Description About the role We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Coordinator to oversee food safety and quality control on the dayshift. In this role, you’ll work closely with Manufacturing to ensure compliance with quality systems and third-party standards, while promoting a positive food safety culture. Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Promote a positive food safety culture across all activities. Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) for all manufacturing activities. Coordinate the product sampling and testing program for the site. Conduct routine quality tasks, including inspection, testing, and approval of incoming raw materials and finished goods. Assist with Internal Audits as required by the QMS and address any gap Skills And Experiences Essential Criteria Self-motivated & passionate about building strong relationships with key people. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and stay organised. Strong communication skills to work well with others. Knowledge of Quality Management and Food Safety Systems. Attention to detail to ensure everything is done accurately. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the food industry. Experience monitoring on-line QC activities and conducting QA functions in a manufacturing environment. Desirable Criteria Knowledge of Corrective and Preventative Action processes. Ability to analyse data and take the right actions. Experience working with computer systems. A curious nature with the ability to ask the right questions. What can we offer you?
