What's the role?
* As part of a shared services team, contribute to and engage in national strategies to manage and improve safety, security and wellbeing.
* Provide specialist advice on matters including editorial and broadcast risk, health, wellbeing, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, driving, office-related injuries and fatigue.
* Maintain injury management procedures and collaborate with injury and claims management service providers to address workers' compensation matters across different insurance schemes.
* Continuously improve return-to-work programs, acting as an internal point of contact for injury management support for HR business partners and coaching leaders in RTW practices.
* Partner with business leaders and staff in assigned business areas to raise awareness of and build accountability for managing health, safety and wellbeing risks.
* Conduct safety audits, inspections and workplace incident investigations.
* Actively monitor and analyse health and safety performance, contributing to the development of appropriate interventions based on effectiveness trends and gap analysis.
Who are you?
* Coordinating and delivering safety, wellbeing and health programs.
* Injury management and return-to-work program coordination.
* Building effective relationships as a business partner with relevant stakeholders across teams, departments or companies.
* Proven capability in developing return-to-work approaches and risk and injury prevention assessments.
* Sound third‐party vendor management skills, including partnering with insurance providers.
* Experience and proficiency in health and safety proprietary software (e.g., MyOSH, SolvInjury) and Google Suite.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrable skills as a strong team player, able to work in a matrixed or shared services environment within a complex organisation.
* Sound judgement and independent problem‐solving.
* High levels of self‐motivation, time management, attention to detail and accuracy.
