Business Transformation Specialist


About the Opportunity:

This is a complex role that requires independence to engage in problem-solving around large-scale transformations. As a Business Transformation Specialist, you will build relationships and business acumen to support the team in delivering positive outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with stakeholders to discover, define, validate, prioritise and continuously manage requirements that translate identified needs into outcomes which align with architectural principles and strategies.
* Examine and organise requirements to record dependencies, relationships and identify logical sequences.
* Synthesise business and technical requirements/concepts and present them in simple terms.
* Study the system being implemented to become a subject matter expert on the system functionality.
* Draft artefacts and documents that may include risk analysis, scope modelling, business process modelling, data discovery and analysis, problem tracking and sequence diagrams.
* Provide support on stakeholder analysis, assisting the team to engage with stakeholders to effectively understand cross-business functions.
* Undertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications and design documents and participate in project reviews, ensuring designed solutions meet business requirements.
* Assist the project manager and the team to translate requirements into project deliverables and tasks.
* Assist team members to effectively document the systems and solutions that the team develops, delivers and maintains.


About You:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

* Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively liaise and keep stakeholders informed and engaged, both verbally and in writing.
* Experience in effectively communicating with technical SME's to define and obtain an understanding of business needs, technical constraints, and technical concepts and present them in simple terms.
* Flexibility to adapt to agile and waterfall processes to deliver projects.
* Experience with Salesforce platforms.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, cultivating productive working relationships across multiple projects and business areas.
* At least 5 years experience in a similar role.
* Australian Citizenship.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Able to hold a Baseline clearance.


Benefits:

* Casual 12-months Temporary Assignment.
* Hybrid working arrangements available (minimum of 3 days each week in the office, with flexible arrangements in place for the remaining 2 days). Some travel may be required.
* Available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide or Canberra.
