Tree Maintenance Professional
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tree Maintenance Professional. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and open space works, ensuring that our community's tree assets are well-maintained and safe.
The primary objective of this position is to deliver efficient and effective services to the community, while maintaining strong communication skills and solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be working closely with the Field Supervisor Arboriculture & Biodiversity Maintenance to achieve key performance indicators and provide input to operational programs.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop new technical skills, embrace new technology and techniques, and work as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain trees to Council's standards, including tree removal, pruning, planting, and staking.
* Operate minor plant and equipment to maintain Council's reserves and surrounding spaces.
* Provide input to Open Spaces metrics programs and other operational programs.
* Deliver on key performance indicators set out by the Field Supervisor Arboriculture & Biodiversity Maintenance.

Requirements:
* Advanced communication skills both written and verbal.
* Chain saw certificate.
* Certificate III in Arboriculture.
* Work zone traffic management accreditation.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
