Experienced Handyman – Government Buildings – Canberra, ACT
Executive Interiors & Property Services is seeking an experienced Handyman to join our team, delivering maintenance, minor works, and commercial furniture installation across Commonwealth buildings.
Key Responsibilities
* General maintenance and handyman work within government and commercial buildings
* Commercial furniture installation, relocation, and minor reconfiguration
* Minor repairs, installations, and property upkeep
* Working professionally in secure and high-profile environments
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable worksite
Essential Requirements
* Proven handyman, maintenance, or commercial furniture installation experience
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Asbestos Awareness (mandatory – training can be provided)
* Silica Awareness (preferred – training can be provided)
* Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
* Ability to successfully pass a National Police Check
* Well-presented, professional, and client-facing
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
