SENIORS COORDINATOR & SCHOOL ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM MANAGER – FULL TIME (38 HRS/WK)
Reports to: Head of Development
Direct Reports: Team Manager, School Program, Club Social Media and Communications Strategy, Assists in running and operation of the School Holiday Program
Role Purpose
The Seniors Coordinator oversees all senior football operations—registrations, matchday administration, communications and logistics—and leads the club’s local school engagement strategy, running programs across all schools in the area to attract and identify local talent.
This role is central to building community presence and strengthening the future playing backbone of the club.
Key Responsibilities
A. Senior Football Operations
* Oversee registrations, transfers, compliance, and payments for all senior players.
* Coordinate team managers, coach support, matchday logistics and Play Football admin.
* Support pre-season, in-season and finals operations for each senior squad.
B. School Programs & Local Talent Identification (Major Function)
* Develop and deliver football programs across primary and secondary schools in the local area.
* Coordinate after-school clinics, in-school skills sessions, and term-based programs.
* Build strong relationships with school principals, PE departments and community groups.
* Create pathways for identifying and onboarding emerging local talent.
* Promote club programs, trials and community events through school channels.
* Coaches up to 6 Junior teams (including Development Squads (at the Direction of the Head of Development)
C. Club Operations & Administration
* Manage communication channels, club emails and internal messaging.
* Coordinate facility bookings, equipment distribution and stock management.
* Support policy administration, fixture management and committee reporting.
D. Communications & Social Media
* Leading Strategy and creating media content related to senior programs, juniors and development squads and school initiatives.
* Publish matchday previews, results and spotlight features.
* Coordinate with the Juniors and Female Football leads to maintain consistent club branding.
E. Stakeholder Engagement
* Maintain strong relationships with parents, players, coaches and school communities.
* Represent the club at community events, FV meetings and sponsor activities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* FFA/AFC B or C Licence (or working towards)
* Experience in sports operations, school programs or community engagement.
* Strong administration capability and communication skills.
* Expertise across all social media platforms
* Excellent rapport-building and organisational ability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
