Mater Clinical Unit – University of Queensland. Part‐time (20%) fixed‐term August 2026‐July 2028. Base salary $143,099 – $164,748 + 17% super (Academic Level C). Based at Mater Misericordiae Hospital and Queensland Children's Hospital.

Teaching‐Focused Senior Lecturer to shape educational excellence through leadership at program, discipline or institutional levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching Leadership & Innovation: lead programs, curriculum design, course coordination across modalities, driving continuous improvement in pedagogy, assessment, and student engagement.
* Influence & Collaboration: shape teaching and assessment across the discipline, build partnerships to disseminate educational innovation.
* Scholarship of Teaching & Learning: lead education‐focused projects, advance evidence‐informed practice, translate pedagogical insights into curriculum outcomes.
* Leadership, Service & Culture: mentor staff, contribute to governance, build industry/community partnerships, model UQ values.
Qualifications
* Medical qualification and eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia.
* Relevant specialist qualification recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists is desired.
* Established record of teaching excellence at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.
* National recognition for teaching impact or educational research profile.
* Record of initiating and managing projects that improve curriculum or pedagogy; funded projects desirable.
* Involvement in supervision of honours and research students to successful completion.
* Experience in educational leadership at program, plan or equivalent levels with evidence of impact.
* Experience in curriculum development at program or course level.
* Record of internal service roles and external activities including mentoring.
* Well‐developed communication, interpersonal and consultative skills.
* Professional expertise that complements current School expertise.
