Ready for your next career move? Yorke Solar is looking for a Fully Qualified Electrician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join our growing team.
As part of Yorke Solar, you'll work alongside a supportive and highly skilled crew delivering cutting-edge solar solutions across South Australia.
This position is primarily based between Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Eyre Peninsula and Adelaide, SA.

Job Benefits:

Duties will include:
* Travel and working away.
* Installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems, including rooftop arrays, inverters and associated electrical components.
* Installation and commissioning of battery storage systems including Tesla Powerwall, SigEnergy, PowerPlus, PylonTech.
* Assisting with (or independently completing, if fully qualified) switchboards, system testing and commissioning.
* Completing electrical fit-offs, switchboard upgrades and meter isolations as required for solar and battery installations.
* Conducting onsite system testing, fault finding, troubleshooting and rectification of solar, battery and general electrical issues.
* Ensuring all installations comply with Clean Energy Council standards.
* Working with the Operations Manager to prepare materials, check stock, load vehicles and follow daily job run sheets.
* Completing job documentation including timesheets, installation photos, checklists and compliance forms.
* Providing professional and friendly customer service onsite, explaining system functionality where required.
* Maintaining safe work practices including correct PPE, SWMS adherence and ensuring all worksites are left clean and tidy.
* Participating in training, product updates and ongoing professional development in solar, batteries and off-grid systems.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Be a fully qualified Electrician or be a 3rd/4th year Apprentice.
* Have (or be willing to obtain) solar accreditation and any relevant compliance certifications.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
* Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* Willing to work away in locations such as Kangaroo Island, the Eyre Peninsula, and Adelaide.
* Hold a current driver's license.
* Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Be motivated, reliable, and proactive in their approach to work.
* Be willing to learn and grow within a supportive and high-performing team environment.
