About the Role
The Manager Finance leads the school's financial operations with a focus on accuracy, service, governance and forward planning. You will oversee the end-to-end finance function across two campuses and key business units.
This is a genuinely broad and rewarding role, suited to a finance professional who enjoys strategic thinking, problem-solving and partnering with people across diverse operational areas.
What You Will Lead & Deliver
Finance Leadership & Oversight
* Lead a capable Finance Team with a culture of service, accountability and continuous improvement
* Oversee all financial processes, internal controls and system management
* Provide operational support and expert advice to the Head of Business Services and Senior Leadership
Reporting & Governance
* Prepare high-quality reporting for the Board, Finance Committee and Budget Holders
* Manage statutory, regulatory and government reporting
* Maintain robust financial governance and compliance frameworks
Budgeting & Financial Strategy
* Lead the annual budget process in partnership with Budget Holders
* Deliver forecasting, long-term modelling and scenario analysis
* Strengthen financial literacy across departments
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are:
* CPA/CA qualified (or well-progressed)
* Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting
* Analytical, organised and attentive to detail

* Curious and adaptable, with a mindset for improving processes and embracing new systems
* Confident presenting financial information to senior leaders and the School Board

Experience in an education or not-for-profit environment is welcome, but not essential. Supervisory/management experience preferred but not essential.
