About the Role:
As Fleet Manager, you will lead the strategic and operational management of the organisation's vehicle fleet. Your focus will be on driving cost-effectiveness, compliance, performance optimisation, and stakeholder engagement, while playing a central role in leading the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) across the national fleet.
Your duties will include:
* Develop and implement a fleet management framework aligned with corporate objectives
* Lead the transition of the fleet to electric vehicles, including strategy, planning, and execution
* Manage and maintain relationships with the outsourced Fleet Provider, ensuring high service standards
* Conduct regular governance meetings and performance reviews with providers and internal stakeholders
* Ensure all activities align with compliance requirements and organisational policies
* Continuously improve fleet-related processes, data integrity, and cost control measures
* Forecast vehicle demand and ensure accurate asset and financial tracking
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
* Proven experience in managing large-scale fleet operations
* Strong commercial and financial acumen
* In-depth understanding of electric vehicles and related infrastructure
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* A working knowledge of risk, compliance, and fleet management systems
