About the Role
As a Future Students Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for future AC students—building relationships, answering questions, and guiding applicants through their pathway into higher education.
You'll work across phone, video, online platforms and in-person events, representing AC with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
You'll also play a key role in achieving student recruitment goals, utilising our CRM and technology tools, and collaborating with a supportive and energetic team.
Key Responsibilities
Build Connections
Engage with prospective students through video calls, phone conversations, email and in-person interactions at events.
Serve as an ambassador for Alphacrucis, helping individuals understand their study options in line with their life and career goals.
Achieve Goals
Work towards (and aim to exceed) new student recruitment targets for each intake.
Maintain a positive, collaborative, and motivational approach with both students and team members.
Use marketing CRM tools to track and manage all communication with future students.
Collaborate with the team to improve systems, processes and the student experience.
Ensure all communication aligns with AC guidelines and service standards.
Daily Activities Include:
Making and receiving phone calls with enquirers, applicants and prospective students.
Meeting or surpassing call and connection benchmarks.
Responding to enquiries promptly and professionally.
Supporting and driving applicants to enrol in AC courses.
Representing AC at online webinars and in-person expos/tradeshows.
Providing input and feedback to the Marketing Team when required.
Other Duties
Complete additional tasks as requested by management.
Attend occasional weekend expos or events.
Travel and occasional overnight stays may be required.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Minimum of High School completion.
Driver's licence and access to a car desirable.
Studies in Christian Ministry, Business, Teaching or Counselling are advantageous.
Experience
Customer service or outbound calling roles
Office administration or sales
Experience with MS Office and Windows
Higher Education (HE) or VET sector experience
Working with international students or experience as one
Knowledge
Microsoft Office/Windows
AC courses or related disciplines
HE and VET systems
Excellent phone manner
Strong written and verbal communication
Customer-service focus across all channels
Conflict management capability
Strong time management and organisation
Ability to work under pressure
Team-oriented and collaborative
Comfortable with cold calling
Proficient with MS Office and general tech systems
