About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our professional Operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily transport and dispatch activities, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring the efficient movement of products across our supply chain.
Working closely with internal teams, drivers, and transport providers, you will help manage delivery schedules, support fleet operations, and maintain compliance with transport regulations. Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Distribution
* Coordinate daily logistics and dispatch operations, including scheduling and tracking deliveries and collections.
* Liaise with transport providers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of seedlings and related products.
* Manage delivery schedules, route planning, and transport coordination to optimise logistics efficiency.
* Monitor dispatch schedules and resolve delivery issues or delays.
* Maintain accurate logistics and dispatch records.
* Manage driver rostering and fleet scheduling to meet operational requirements.
Compliance & Operations
* Support and maintain NHVR (National Heavy Vehicle Regulator) compliance and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.
* Assist with maintaining transport documentation, records, and processes required for NHVR compliance and audits.
* Support compliance with company transport policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Operate forklifts when required to assist with loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the facility.
* Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and reliable professional who thrives in a hands-on operational role. You will bring:
Essential
* 3–5 years’ experience in a logistics, transport, dispatch, or supply chain coordination role.
* Practical knowledge of transport scheduling, fleet coordination, dispatch operations, or logistics planning.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or equivalent ERP/logistics management systems.
* Current QLD High Risk Work Licence - Class LF (Forklift).
* Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
* Previous experience in an agricultural, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
* Familiarity with NHVR compliance, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), or heavy vehicle transport regulations.
* Experience coordinating deliveries across regional or interstate transport networks.
* Ability to liaise confidently with senior managers, transport providers, and external stakeholders.
* MC Multi-combination driver’s licence.
