Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Environmental Engineer at Future-Plus Environmental, based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. You will lead and execute environmental compliance reviews, develop sustainable management plans, and manage environmental impact assessments. Primary responsibilities include conducting groundwater, soil and geo-chemical assessments and evaluations, preparing reports for regulatory bodies, and providing consulting services to ensure environmentally sound project practices. You will also manage project timelines, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and review technical studies to ensure they align with environmental regulations and project goals.
Qualifications
* Appropriately qualified person under the EP Act (QLD).
* Experience in Environmental Compliance and a strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
* Skills in Waste Management to develop sustainable and effective solutions.
* Proficiency in conducting Environmental Impact Assessments and preparing detailed assessment reports.
* Background in Environmental Consulting with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders effectively.
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage time-sensitive deliverables and cross-functional teams.
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
* Proven experience in water quality assessments, soil classification, and flora/fauna surveys is desirable.
* Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
* Professional certification or accreditation in environmental engineering or similar fields is advantageous.
