The position of Senior Fundraiser is available at our organization. As a senior fundraising professional, you will be responsible for building financial capacity through the development of fundraising strategies and establishing new partnerships.

The successful candidate will have a minimum two years' demonstrated effectiveness in a senior fundraising role, with proven ability to successfully manage fundraising campaigns, identify and develop new business opportunities, secure significant funds from individuals and/or organizations, achieve growth in corporate partnerships and reach financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
">

* Develop and deliver our strategic Fundraising Plan, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders
">
* Research, identify and pursue potential sources of funding including corporate partnerships, high net worth donors and bequests, developing and implementing dynamic prospect plans and tailored proposals
">
* Work collaboratively with the Manager Business Development in the planning and execution of external stakeholder engagement strategies including fundraising events
">
* Research, develop and manage corporate partner relationships and our database to build a sustainable income stream through donations, sponsorship, workplace giving, major gifts, bequests and other sources in accordance with the strategic Fundraising Plan
">
* Develop and manage our branding across social media platforms and internally, engaging professional marketing expertise and liaising with the Manager Business Development as relevant

Key Skills & Qualifications:
">
">
* Minimum two years' demonstrated effectiveness in a senior fundraising role, with proven ability to successfully manage fundraising campaigns, identify and develop new business opportunities, secure significant funds from individuals and/or organizations, achieve growth in corporate partnerships and reach financial targets
">
* Demonstrated practical understanding of legislation, regulations and standards applicable to fundraising in the not-for-profit sector
">
* Proven highly effective interpersonal communication skills including business relationship management, high level influencing, gift solicitation, negotiation, pitch and public speaking skills
">
* Demonstrated understanding of data analytics and donor acquisition and retention strategies, with proven ability to negotiate effective partnership agreements and prepare written funding submissions, reports, proposals and targeted correspondence
">
* Relevant tertiary qualification - e.g. in Fundraising, Marketing, Public Relations
">
* Experience and understanding of the for-purpose sector
">
* Membership of the Fundraising Institute Australia Inc (FIA)
">
