Farmland Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farmland Operations Manager to oversee the strategic planning and hands-on management of farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate daily activities and lead a team of staff to ensure efficient use of resources, timely task completion, and high productivity standards.
* Maintain property and equipment to optimize farm performance and minimize downtime.
* Ensure animal health and welfare by developing and implementing feeding plans and identifying animal health and nutrition problems.
* Manage pasture health and rotational grazing practices to maintain soil fertility and reduce environmental impact.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with beef cattle and sheep across various production stages, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
* Experience in cell grazing or similar rotational grazing systems is highly desirable.
* Competency in operating and maintaining modern farm machinery, including tractors, plows, and irrigation systems.
* Strong understanding of animal welfare and low-stress stock handling techniques.
