What you'll be doing
* Preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based drinks, including cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites, to consistently high standards.
* Providing excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including the proper care and maintenance of all coffee equipment.
* Contributing to daily operations including table service, register use, and food prep.
* Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of café operations and customer experience.
Key Requirements
* Confident with grind adjustment, extraction, and machine setup.
* Skilled in latte art and consistent coffee presentation.
* Friendly, professional, and able to multitask under pressure.
* Flexible availability across mornings and weekends.
* Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of different coffee bean varieties and roast profiles.
* Must have the right to work in Australia.
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a commercial setting.
* The ability to work confidently on the floor, including as a barista, will be highly regarded.
