Executive nursing leadership role shaping addiction services
Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services is seeking a Community Nursing Director – Addiction Services (NG11) to provide executive-level nursing leadership across a complex service environment. In this temporary full-time role (12 months), you will lead strategic direction, clinical governance and workforce capability initiatives to deliver safe, equitable and recovery-oriented addiction care across Metro South.
About This Role
Your new role:
As Community Nursing Director, you will operate at a senior executive level, providing authoritative leadership, governance and operational oversight across Addiction Services. You will act as a trusted advisor and deputy to the Director of Addiction Services, influencing service design, performance, workforce and system integration at scale.
You Will
* Provide contemporary nursing leadership across Addiction Services
* Lead clinical and corporate governance, quality and safety frameworks
* Drive strategic service planning, performance and system reform
* Oversee workforce capability, financial stewardship and resource allocation
* Represent Addiction Services on executive, statewide and multi-agency forums
About You
You are a highly accomplished senior nurse leader recognised for your ability to lead complex services, influence system-level change and deliver high-quality outcomes in dynamic environments.

* Proven capability in governance, workforce and financial management
* Exceptional strategic thinking and executive decision-making skills
