About the opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Client Manager to join our team in Millaa Millaa, North Queensland.
You will report directly to the Senior Client Manager and will be assisting with:
· Delivering year end tax client meetings,
· Bookkeeping training to clients,
· Strategic tax planning and structuring advice with annual tax planning interviews
Skills and experience:
· High level of technical knowledge and an ability to apply it to finalise jobs for clients
· Relevant degree in Accountancy or Commerce (or partly completed)
· A high level of interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
· Experience preparing tax returns, financial statements, tax planning figures & analysis and various tax reports
· Knowledge and experience of the following accounting system:
· Xero Accounting
· Xero Practice Manager
· Microsoft Products
· BGL Super
· Karbon
· High attention to detail and ability to prioritise your work
· CA or CPA, highly regarded
