We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our clinical team at our St Johns facility in Wangaratta, Victoria.
Flexible in regard to type of contract offered i.e.
full time, part time or casual.

Your role: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible to provide safe, competent and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Key duties and responsibilities Complete ACFI assessments and other clinical documentation as required for the shift and contribute to the maximisation of income.
Maintain a high level of documentation which accurately reflects care delivery.
Maintain staff discipline and provide leadership, support and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants.
Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to residents and their families at all times and on other matters imparted in confidence.
Provide a concise and relevant report, via email, to the Care Manager and General Manager at the end of each shift.
Identify training and development opportunities and communicate these to the General Manager.
Develop and maintain knowledge of aged care issues, standards and services.
Ensure staff under your supervision are working safely and within the policies and procedures of the organisation.
Essential: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
Desirable: Knowledge of the standards required by the government for the delivery of aged care.
An understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
Strong clinical and documentation skills.
An understanding of the aged care accreditation process.
Leadership skills.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
