Office Administrator

Erker Safety – Garbutt, QLD
Full Time | Monday to Friday | Office Based

We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our team in a full-time, office-based role.

This is a hands-on admin position with a steady workload.
The role is focused on completing tasks accurately and on time — not managing people or redesigning systems.

If you are reliable, organised, and take pride in getting through work properly, this will suit you.

What the role involves
* Answering incoming calls and handling enquiries

* Preparing and formatting documents using Microsoft Word (templates, SWMS, policies)

* Updating registers and maintaining internal systems

* Chasing, checking and processing contractor documentation

* Uploading and managing documents across platforms (Hammertech, CM3, SiteWise)

* General office administration and coordination

* Managing a consistent daily workload of administrative tasks

What we're looking for
* Strong admin experience (not a junior role)

* High proficiency in Microsoft Word (formatting, styles, templates)

* High attention to detail — accuracy is critical

* Ability to work through tasks without constant direction

* Comfortable following set processes

* Clear and confident communication

Construction industry exposure is preferred, but not essential.

* Takes ownership of completing tasks

* Can manage a steady volume of work each day
