About the role
Ace Cabinet Materials - one of Queenslands leading Cut and Edge companies is seeking experienced Cabinet Makers to join our team in Caloundra West. We have recently started to expand our assembly services and need skilled cabinet makers to increase our production and help train our apprentices.
The role and renumeration will be tailered to your skills and experience.
Candidates must be Australian permanent residents or citizens with full working rights.
What you'll be doing
* Providing hands on on-the-job training and guidance to junior cabinet makers to develop their skills and technique
* Assembling custom cabinetry to client specifications.
* Provide training to factory workers around basic cabinet making and best practices in cutting/edging and cleaning board
* Operating a variety of woodworking machinery and power tools with a high level of skill and safety
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
* Providing excellent customer service and communication throughout projects
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified cabinet maker
* Experience or desire to mentor and train junior cabinet makers
* Strong woodworking skills and proficiency in using a wide range of machinery and power tools
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Passion for delivering high-quality, custom cabinetry.
* Trade certificate in cabinet making is required
