Medina Manor is conveniently located in Thornbury within the heart of Melbourne's North. Medina Manor is recognised for its expertise in caring for people living with Dementia and provides an enabling environment that focuses on person centred care, that is unique to each person's individual needs and preferences.
About the Opportunity
Maintenance Officer's work to coordinate the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
* Undertaking repairs and maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment
* Maintaining appropriate procedures and records of maintenance, equipment and costs
* Reporting defects or improvements/replacements in buildings and equipment
* Liaising with suppliers
* Overseeing contractors and order/maintain supplies levels.
About You
To be successful you will need:
* General maintenance experience (essential)
* Proficient documentation and computer skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and team members
A trade qualification and previous experience in aged care or related industry are desirable but not essential.
The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check, provide proof of COVID-19 and may need to complete a NDIS check.
