The Role
As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will manage and optimize tax strategies while ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
You will support the delivery of income tax, GST advisory, compliance and reporting activities, and monitor tax compliance obligations for Australian and foreign entities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert tax advice and support to internal stakeholders.
* Assist in delivering tax-related services and advice to investment teams.
* Acquisition due diligence for domestic and international investments.
* Tax design and analysis of new investments/products.
* Monitoring tax efficiency of onshore and offshore investment structures.
* General day-to-day Australian and international income tax and indirect tax advice.
* Review of quarterly and year-end distributions.
* Review of Australian and international income tax returns.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the enterprise tax strategy.
* Support transaction-related tax work and prepare/review complex tax calculations.
* Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise the team accordingly.
About You
* Experience from a corporate tax division or Big 4 environment.
* CA or CPA qualification with strong technical tax expertise.
* Solid knowledge of both local and international tax legislation.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Communicates complex tax concepts clearly and effectively.
* Works well independently and as part of a team.
