Job description
LSA Health are seeking Community Care Workers/Personal Care Assistants/Disability Support Workers to assist clients with their personal, domestic and social needs across aged and disability care.
Community roles require travelling between clients' homes, so a reliable car and drivers' licence is a must, KMs and time paid.
Personal Care Assistants will be working in a residential aged care facility supporting personal care needs.
Work your way, choose your days over a flexible roster AM/PM/Nights - Monday to Friday or Weekends
The care work will include working with both female and male clients in:
Personal Care Services - helping with showering and getting dressed, medication assistance, assistance in feeding
Domestic Services - helping around the house - Meal prep, mopping, cleaning kitchen, bathrooms, vacuuming, laundry, changing bed linen
Social Services - Providing transport for wellbeing - driving to appointments, and accompanying clients on shopping trips, Seniors programs
Respite - Giving primary carers a well-deserved break
**Requirements for the role**:
CERT III or IV in Disability/Mental Health/Aged Care/Individual support/Community Services
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
Current Criminal History Check
NDIS Workers Screening check/Yellow card
NDIS Orientation certificate
Blue card/Working with children
Reliable Car and drivers licence
