About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced industry professional to join the Automotive Teaching Team. This role will contribute to the delivery of the Certificate II in Automotive as part of our VET in Schools programs and will also be responsible for teaching Certificate III apprentices, delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training and outcomes.
We’re looking for an Automotive Teacher to join TAFE Gippsland and help shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople. You’ll deliver hands-on, industry-relevant training and assessments, while supporting students to achieve their best. Beyond teaching, you’ll be involved in developing course materials, keeping programs up to date with industry standards, and working with colleagues to ensure a great learning experience. You’ll also have the chance to connect with industry, contribute to new initiatives, and help grow TAFE Gippsland’s programs.

Mandatory requirements
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or equivalent
* Certificate III in Automotive or equivalent
* Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
* Current Police Check (not older than 12 months)
* Current Driver’s Licence
